This busy Residential Accommodation for Students and Staff of KCL went out to Contract for Daily Cleaning in 2006, awarding this valued business to CKS. Services are provided 5 and/or 7 days a week all year round, involving cleaning shared kitchens, bathrooms, public thoroughfares, lifts, rubbish areas, and windows. Deep cleaning of kitchens and bathroom facilities at term ends are undertaken and student and staff rooms are also thoroughly cleaned in readiness for the Vacation Lets which the College provides to visitors to London seeking central, economic lodgings throughout the summer months. During this period, CKS provides daily cleaning to the rooms, linen changeovers, and makes sure that all communal facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Regular contract reviews ensures that CKS is up to speed with the changing demands of GDS and can adapt to unscheduled activities.
