City & Kent Cleaning Limited are engaged the provision of deep cleaning and general cleaning services on a long term and emergency basis and the stockholding and onward sale and distribution of cleaning consumables and machinery primarily within Healthcare, Higher Education and the Corporate sectors, predominantly within the M25 corridor and the south-east of England
We recognise the need to operate our business in a manner that reflects environmental responsibility and are aware of the potential environmental impact of our operations. We aim to minimise any harmful effects of our actions, whenever and wherever possible, to protect both the local and global environment. The Company is committed to providing the necessary financial and personnel resource to fulfil this policy.
The Company is committed to continual improvement and to preventing pollution. The organisation will establish a set of clear environmental objectives and targets within the framework of an environmental management system.
The Company complies with all applicable environmental legislation and with other requirements to which the Company subscribes which relate to its environmental aspects. Where practicable, the Company will strive to achieve standards of environmental performance better than the legal minimum.
City and Kent Cleaning Ltd are committed to achieving environmental best practice throughout their business by:
• Ensuring the Company’s activities are safe for employees, associates, customers and others who come into contact with our business.
• Accepting reasonable responsibility for any harm to the environment caused by our activities and taking practicable steps to remedy any damage.
• Working with our suppliers and other third parties associated with our business in seeking to trade with those who have environmental standards.
• Exploiting environmental opportunities by active resource management, consumption reduction, (materials, fuel and energy) and waste minimisation.
• The organisation shall ensure that persons working for or on behalf of the company are competent, environmentally aware and trained in relation to the tasks which they undertake.
